Collaborative work for adults to bring out the best you
- CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS-
Welcome, I'm happy to have you here!
Are you seeking peace and stability in your life? As a team we will work to bring balance through self-discovery and strength. I specialize in complex trauma treatment, behavior change, attachment patterns, maladaptive coping strategies, anxiety, and depression. I believe in examining the self through a lens of understanding and self-compassion. We will discover and break down the roots of why you're not feeling fully satisfied with your life. Through a collaborative social justice oriented approach to counseling, we'll partner together to move towards healing and strength in both a comfortable and challenging manner.
My approach incorporates being your advocate while working to challenge you to bring about change and growth. I endorse acceptance of the self by digging into the why's of behavior. I am trained in EMDR and have done extensive research regarding somatic and behavioral therapies. I conduct trauma informed care in order to bring about regulation to the body.
Being a therapist has been a lifelong dream of mine and working with clients in their healing journey is the highest honor. We will work together to design and implement a plan to heal and help you live life to your fullest potential. I would love for you to send a message sharing a bit about what you want support in. Looking forward to meeting you!
I received my M.A. from Lewis and Clark’s Master’s Professional Mental Health Counseling program with a specialization in Addiction Treatment and my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Redlands. I spend my off time as Treasurer and board member of The Equi Institute, a nonprofit working to enrich the health of the Trans, Queer, Gender Diverse and Intersex communities through trauma-informed and culturally affirming care and social justice advocacy. I am originally from LA, but have found my home in the Pacific Northwest. I love baseball, all things horror, painting, traveling, weightlifting, and listening to the rain while enveloped in a good book.
I am receiving clinical supervision from Angela Gilchrist-Stewart, who is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon
